The owner, Peter Faminoff has spent almost three decades helping make our roads safer with in depth classroom instruction and practical in car and truck on the road training for his students. Columbia Driver Training Centre is the expansion of Pacific Transport Consultants. PTC was formed in 1990 by the owner to provide drivers training (30000 hours as a driving instructor and 7000 hours in the classroom) and to be a resource to the legal profession and the RCMP as an expert witness.
The owner realized that there was a great untapped opportunity in this industry. No company was providing what the customer truly demanded, high quality driver education. Large companies and the local companies were not providing enough programs and services. This is CDTC’s driving strategy winning business model. The owner has a steady growth in mature market which proves the company’s management policy over time.
